History
Independence Regained is a private not for profit advocacy organization that was formed on July 29, 2010 specifically to advocate and raise funds to get a specialized spinal cord and traumatic brain injury rehab and research hospital in north Louisiana.
We have seen the need for this type of facility due to citizens in our state not having the availability to proper medical care after receiving these types of injuries.
Our focus will be with each patient by taking a team approach to address each and every issue to enable each person to be ready and able to return to employment to foster their own independence.
Independence Regained is looking to partner with an existing medical center to get a neurological rehabilitation center of excellence in North Louisiana.
